Music Reviews:

NOTE:  The reviews are very out-dated and the list does not represent everything that will be reviewed.  There is a lot of prog and power metal that has yet to be put in the list.  I'm putting a priority on the bands I like though, so hopefully I'll be adding reviews soon.

The following is a listing of bands and albums I have either owned the CD from or heard the CD enough to create a review.  These reviews are based on my opinion but I consider my musical opinion to be pretty darn good.  If you like music for the music rather than it's trendy-ness or ability to survive on a "Top 40" chart you will find these reviews quite helpful.

My goal is to provide a listing that people can use to find new music.  If you've heard of a band but don't know what they sound like you will find it here.  While the reviews will contain my opinion on the music, I will be sure to point out if a group has musical talent but perhaps the genre is not something I prefer.  In that case, the band may be "good" but I just don't care for the music they've chosen to write.

The list may take a while to load, and for a while many of the bands listed will not have links.  The list shows what I will be reviewing, but it takes time to write reviews for each album.  Right now I have well over 300 albums needing to be reviewed.  I have not written many yet, so it may take time.  If you want something reviewed faster you must contact me about it. 

How will the reviews be structured?  Each review will contain the following information:

• Band Name

• Album Name (Date if known)

• Genre

• Sub-Genre/Sound Type Summary

• "Stars" or "Rating" or "Buy it or not"

• Review

• Sound Clips (May or may not be done.)
